Advocate

I provide therapy for individuals-(children, adolescents and adults), couples, and facilitate process groups. 

Consultant

I provide workshops and presentations that deal with undoing multiple oppressions in both queer and communities of color.

Therapy

I rely on a variety of techniques based on what works for you. These techniques may include cognitive restructuring, reframing, dialogue, interpretation, visualization, relaxation, Gestalt awareness experiments, bibliotherapy, exploring family of origin issues, self-monitoring exercises, attachment, systems theory, oppression awareness, and multicultural frameworks. 

ABOUT ME

I am from Arizona originally and made Seattle my home in 2004. I earned my M.A in Community Mental Health at Seattle University in 2012 and am licensed to practice as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Washington State (LH60632931) and a Nationally Certified Counselor (#300772). As part of my training I completed a pre-Masters internship at Seattle Counseling Service in Seattle, Washington. I am a specialist in community and mental health, with special interests in depression, anxiety, sexuality, Gender Identity, Intersections of Identity, and career counseling.
