Therapy
I rely on a variety of techniques based on what works for you. These techniques may include cognitive restructuring, reframing, dialogue, interpretation, visualization, relaxation, Gestalt awareness experiments, bibliotherapy, exploring family of origin issues, self-monitoring exercises, attachment, systems theory, oppression awareness, and multicultural frameworks.
ABOUT ME
I’m originally from Arizona and made Seattle my home in 2004. Since then, this community has become an important part of my personal and professional journey.
I earned my M.A. in Community Mental Health from Seattle University in 2012. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Washington State (LH60632931) and a Nationally Certified Counselor (#300772). As part of my clinical training, I completed a pre-Master’s internship at Seattle Counseling Service, one of the longest-standing LGBTQIA+ mental health agencies in the country.
My background is rooted in both community and clinical mental health, with focused experience in:
-
Depression & Anxiety
-
Sexuality and Gender Identity
-
Career Counseling
-
Intersections of Identity
(Race, class, gender, culture, queerness, spirituality, and more)
This blend of personal connection and professional training helps me meet clients where they are—with nuance, empathy, and authenticity.
